Free the press

It is not that the press is not free, it is just that it is not willing to be free. In this environment a death of a thousand cuts, by reading information that is missing critical parts or simply information aimed at softening an event negative effects, is more pernicious than simply flat out lying.

It is easy to detect lies, but it is difficult to detect deception. A starting point is to start to build a true opposition media.
